We render our tallow 3 ways: Dry, Wet to dry, and second dry.
Each rendering offers a different skin experience. Dry is a slow long method that keeps dense nutrition and a more mild beef scent. You can see the yellow nutritional density in this rendering. Wet to dry is rendered up to 3-4 times with water and salt. It removes the beef scent and is a more finished white tallow. Great for skincare products you want to scent. The Second Dry rendering is a higher heat dry rendered tallow that follows the initial dry slow method. It is a stronger beef scent great for soaps or skincare with emulsions.
